I've actually been to Wrigley before but my wife hasn't. My buddy and I have gone every year since the summer of 2002. The only year I missed out of those was Glavine's 300th win. Still kicking myself over that one.
We have a bit of a routine when we hit Chicago. Always get some deep dish, always get sandwiches at Lucky's on game day. This time around we will attempt to hit Hot Doug's which is usually packed, and if they are too busy we will make a trip to Super Dog which serves the traditional Chicago Style dog.
Just thinking about that city is making me pumped to make that 5.5 hour drive across Ohio and that abortion known as Indiana.

We love Chicago - of course I'm up there for the architecture. Mrs. Tech is there for the shopping.
I take it you'll go over for the weekend and fit time in for Michigan Ave.

So you got something against little people, dude? I mean why point out that they're "little"? Don't see you commenting on the great "big" neighbors do I? Its always the little guy that gets singled out. Well, maybe a couple of the boys stop by your house and bite your ankle, then see what you got to say about "little neighbors".

We are actually heading up Monday morning and getting into Chicago around 11:30 local time. We will hit the Navy Pier either Monday or Tuesday and do (window) shopping the same day. I expect to use the Loop quite a bit as parking in the city is crazy expensive. We will most likely skip the Art Institute this year. This is going to be a bit of a budget trip for us but we will still have a good time.
