I've got a pretty good trail about a quarter-mile from my house, runs through the town I live in, but it's mostly tree-lined and straight. Pretty good to get a few miles in here or there.

Im a big nfl draft fan so I will just download a podcast and listen why I run. Time flies by. If you have an Iphone Map My run will map your run and let you know your pace and all that. It jacks up every once in awhile but it seems ok.

If I am running at the gym I try to time it so that I am ending just at the end of a game so I stay on a bit longer or I start right when a show starts and end an hour later.

My knees hate running...but I'll bust out the inlines for distance. Give me a fully charged ipod and I could skate to France. Wouldn't want to because it's France...but I could do it

Yeah...I'm familiar with the term "fruit boots" At least I don't look as dumb as a cyclist in spandex. When it's cold I bust out the Pavel Datsyuk Ak Bars Kazan jersey. Nothing says badass like a Russian league Datsyuk jersey.

Let us leave the cyclist's out of this conversation please. Down 45 lbs since Thanksgiving and a ways to go yet until I can again wear spandex.

Ever sat on a road bike seat? Ever worn the cycling shorts (which have padding in all the necessary area)?

Yeah, I was skeptical too... but after cycling for a year and a half... the shorts were one of the best investments I ever made.

Thanks, Freak! It was good to see hammb and his band of fellow Falcons at the finish line, along with my brother and a couple BG grads we talked to while recovering.
