Re: The World Cup
Germany is making me nervous...The last thing I want to see is a bunch of Germans, waving German flags, for German victory, in German city squares...

Re: The World Cup
I really expect to see a Dutch win today. Uruguay will be without a few key players. esp Suarez after his deliberate hand ball that actually turned out to work for his team. I think karma will come back and bite them in the ass! I think the Netherlands will get 3 or 4 to Uruguay's 1.
Germany v Spain is going to be great. can't wait for that.

Re: The World Cup
I wonder why Fifa didn't give players more time to get used to the new ball they introduced for this tournament. I don't think it is a coincidence that goal scoring has been unspectacular in this tournament, and yet in the later stages we see goals going in from 43 yards at 60mph from the Dutch, and that 50mph effort from Forlan from 31 yards in just one game. I don't know which goal was better - the Dutch goal went in like a laser beam, and the Uruguay goal was a study in curve - it's a shame it has taken this long for players to get a handle on what Fifa claims the new ball can do.
