That could result in trade infringement...... there's already a "BG" amp

You WILL appreciate this..... the shop owner was showing me how to run pedals on the Harvard. There are three inputs and they are serialized. So you plug the guitar in one, then run the input cable from input 2 to the pedal and out put to input 3. This way guitar is feeding through the amp directly. He also showed how to do the same, but put the pedal output to a second amp. For demonstration he ran it to an old 1960's Sears Silvertone Amp.

I immediately thought of you.

Was the amp in the guitar case? I've got a Fender Blues Junior and a no-name Chinese thing I got at SOR (side of the road). Works pretty well, the price was right and it has a really gritty dirty channel. Problem is it has a really gritty clean channel, too. Occasionally it goes from cool-gritty to sounding like ten pounds of nails in a blender- got to be an application for that. I like the blues, Jr. though.

I have heard nothing but good things about the Blues Jr. Do you have one in Tweed or Black Tolex?
The Silvertone amp was a regular amp..... but according to the shop owner.... their cabinets were made of cardboard!?! I can't find anything on-line to confirm that but particle board or masonite can be about like cardboard if it gets wet.
I think this was the Silvertone amp at the shop.... its for sale if your interested.

My BJ is black. Can I say that here? I left it in a storage facility for several months and it accumulated some rust (

) but it sounds great and puts out some pretty good volume. I use the other one to amplify harp more than guitar-it seems to handle that OK. I'm toying with some pedals and stuff lately- I've not done much with them in the past- kinda fun to put stuff together and see what happens.

I only have three pedals.....
a. Boss A-3 Acoustic Simulator, which has been hijacked by Nicholas
b. Boss FRV-1 '63 Fender Reverb. This is great. Best purchase ever. It would be redundant for a Blues Jr.
c. Boss RC-20 Loop Station. This is very cool and allows me to lay down tracks and play over them. Great for practice and performing.

I've got a Crybaby, a Zoom processor that acts like a whole bunch of things but with which I've not had much success and a couple flangers and other odds and ends a friend gave me. I love the Wah and there are some cool things I can do with the Zoom but I'm just beginning to experiment with combinations and the like. The loop thing sounds very cool.
