Just this past Saturday, July 17th I got married to the woman of my dreams. It was a great day with a great ceremony and reception. Leaving to go on the honeymoon on Thursday for a nice long 2 weeks!

Two days before that I celebrated my 30th year of wedded bliss. I also celebrated my thirty second anniversary that day. OK, its an old joke, but still a good one. No, seriously, 32 years with a former Rocket swimmer and its just as good as when we started. All the best for the future, Lowry and for the future Lowrys!

Thank you, and congrats to you H2o! My wife is a new BGSU alum. She just graduated this year and will be returning for grad school there in spring! I myself am currently going to Owens but plan to attend BGSU in a year. What can I say, I started late. A 25 year old sophomore.

Plenty of time to find a better school- I could put in a good word for you at UT. (cue factman's emoticon dropping his drawers).

96F with a torrential downpour that raised the humidity to 100% at the time of the wedding. Plus we got married poolside at the hotel so the humidity there was more like 125%.But those were disco days so my shoes made me 6'8" and the air was a little cooler up there.....

Sucker. I got married on a beach in Jamaica wearing sandals and khakis.

Congrats, LF! I've found marriage to be pretty awesome after 4+ years - hopefully you guys will as well. I've found the best way to keep them in line is regular beatings, coupled with random verbal abuse. If you have any trouble, that's always something to fall back on.

I'm sure you can tolerate the verbal abuse but she hasn't hurt you seriously during any of the beatings has she?

No - those bruises are from when I..um..fell down the stairs.
