BG experiences in the Pacific Northwest

We got back from our 2010 vacation in Seattle on Sunday. While there, we had a couple of BG experiences.
We went white water rafting on the Elwah river in Olympic National Park. It was gorgeous and glacier-fed numbingly cold. Anyway, as I walked in to register sporting my BGSU t-shirt, I noticed a truck in the parking lot with Falcon license plate frames. This place was in the middle of nowhere on the Olympic Peninsula down a little dirt road. Went in and had a nice conversation with a woman who was secretary to the Board of Trustees and recently retired. They sold everything, traveled the country by motorhome and ended up settling near there.
But, even more strange was our visit to the notorious "Gum Wall" in the Pike Place Market. This is a wall in a little alley that people have stuck gum on for years. I guess it started with people waiting in line for a theater down there, and took off as a tourist attraction. Anyway, here's a close-up picture of the princess next to the wall. The wall is probably about 40 feet long.

Anyway, I look down the wall and see this:

Someone had put a blue "DUKE" up high on the wall, so I figured this had to be a BG person.
Well, it was a great 10-day trip, except for the red-eye home on Saturday night. Here's Lady Byron waiting for our connection at O'Hare,

Good to be back and catching up on the boards.
