Two:
1) Thee Blade has an article about a cadet who left West Point over its "no ask, no tell" policy. She is from Findlay and there is a picture of a guy fom Findlay the Blade interviewed regarding the feelings of the town towards the issue (the cadet is from Findlay). Nothing to do with BG except the guy is pictured wearing a Falcon ballcap. Not Uof F, Steelers or Miami.
2) Across from my bus stop in Waterville is a store that has housed several businesses over the last few years. It appears empty now but has several "antiquey" items by the window and a sign saying the items are for sale. One item is a brown, padded folding chair cum desk like you see in lecture halls. The desk attachment can fold down or up. On the padded upper portion BGSU is spelled out in orange letters. No other info, year or how somebody came by a chair that I'mguessing belongs at BG or was acquired in an auction or from a dumpster. Chair looks to be in pristine condition but its hard to see much of it and impossible to read the price tag. Since the building is For Sale and empty except for the sale items, it is not open to the public.

Next door to Coffee Gallery but if you want the chair you're probably too late. I'm the first house north of Smoke and Fire on River. Yeah, living in Haskins I can see where you wouldn't realize Waterville was so close.

Well I'm originally from Pemberville but my wife and I moved to Haskins, which is a nice place but our landlord their sold the place and we had to find a new place so we found an even better place in tontogany. Only thing that sucks is that we live close to Otsego (potsego) high school. I love Waterville. I sing up at Mad Anthony's from time to time but you can catch me singing at Herbies in Haskins every single Saturday pretty much.

Mad A's? Two blocks from my house-let me know if you're up there. Friend of mine plays there some. Herbie's I've been to once. Pretty much that was enough but I may try to sneak down and catch your act if I get a free Sat.

First off let me say, Herbies now is totally different then the Herbies in the past. They got new owners and the place looks great. They have a new patio now as well. Mad A's I go there sometimes on Friday nights when I wanna sing karaoke. Of course thats what I do at herbies too. Tomorrow I will be singing as a guest with a band at a live gig at Yeeha's in Oregon. But other than that we may try to make it to Mad A's more often.

Somebody else told me that = I didn't know there WAS a HErbie's in the past but I went a week or two ago= pretty bad, especially the service and noise level and I'm not really picky when it comes to restaurants. Food was OK. Might be OK to drink in-I'll probably try it again in six months and see if they worked the kinks out. Shawn's in Waterville was pretty bad, too and its swamped all the time so what do I know.
