Backyard Ice Rink

Here is the latest version of our backyard ice rink.
The unsually cold December has been great.

Mitch,
I didn't see the Zamboni anywhere...is it parked in your garage?
Very "sophistocated" version of what my dad used to do in our backyard...simply took the hose and set it on spray.... covered nearly the whole backyard area....(admittedly, a small area) until he got about an inch or two of ice...he'd stay out there literally for hours, getting it ready for us to destroy basement window... (directly behind one of the "goals".

The boards seem kind of low...hope he doesn't get checked into them!

He has gone over the boards only twice. They keep the pucks on the ice. All the boards are 2' high which compensates for the slope in my yard.
