Fantasy Football Time!!!

Alright guys and gals, I've activated the league, Canton All Stars, and have set the maximum teams to 12. This is going to be a high scoring league, I hope. I have set up some bonuses for passing, rushing and receiving yards. This is a league that is just for fun so anyone and everyone is invited. Novice to expert. The only thing I'm still trying to decide is if people prefer Auction style instead of Traditional. Let me know your thoughts and I can tinker with it right up until the draft. Hope to see you in the league!!!

What is auction style, and how is it different from traditional style?

Auction style, you get a set amount of "money" to "spend" on players. It makes the drafting process a little more thoughtful as you don't want to spend all your cash on one stud player and then be left with $15 bucks to land your last 15 players.

I played something similar to that, where you had to sign the people to contracts, and the contract amount changed based on how they were performing that year. But, once you signed them their contract amount didn't fluctuate until they were released. So, if I had a good player that hit a slump, I would dump him and hope he cleared waivers, then resign him at the lesser amount.
By auction, does that mean you would have to bid against other people for the players?

Yes...the bidding process is actually quite fun. I did my first auction draft last year and I absolutely loved it.

Plenty of space left! Auction drafts are very fun but very strategic!

5 teams currently in the league - plenty of time to join, the draft is currently scheduled for Thursday 9/1 at 7pm. (right before BG vs Idaho)

You beat me to it 24! I was just coming on to let people know that there are still 4 spots left. Please, if you join the league make sure you are able to draft live. Auction drafts are no fun when there is a computer auto-drafting.
