Well, if first impressions mean anything, The Stroh Center just might have moved to the top of MAC facilities!

The building is absolutely stunning and I think all will be more than impressed and it won't take long to forget the former arena. And being on the floor tonight I can tell you that our opponents are gonna hear some major noise with a full house of falcon fans.

The concert tonight was top notch, with the only hiccup I noticed being the house lights coming on before Tenth Avenue North was finished with their set.

Everytime I've been inside there I continue to be more and more impressed by it. It really is a great facility...cannot WAIT until the first tip. When I was there buying my tickets for the basketball season the ticket guy said that the concert would probably be a sellout...he also said they've sold like 2000 tickets for the first volleyball game.

I was thinking about going to that show...but I went to Detroit and saw Kid Rock at Comerica Park. Say what you will about his music...but that guy puts on a hell of a live show. And Ndamukong Suh was out to do his intro. If Suh has any kind of longevity, he's going to own Detroit...

I like Detroit...if you're a young african-American male with ties to the drug trade, it's one of th emost dangerous places you can find. If you're in town for a ball game or some dinner downtown, it's safe...

Yeah I'm with you flip. I prefer Cleveland for stuff like that but Detroit isn't bad. Never had problems going downtown for ball games, dinner, hitting the casinos, etc.

And to think that 40% of BGSU students didn't want to see this become a reality all because of a $60 fee.

Hell, a bunch of them are still complaining about it. When tuition was raised $160 or something there were a bunch of comments on facebook along the lines of, "Now we have to pay more for tuition and that stupid fee for the Stroh Center?!" There will always be students (and people in general) who complain about anything or everything.
