Went to the exhibition game against Findlay tonight.....not a bad crowd for an exhibition game. Went up at halftime to get some food as we hadn't eaten yet and ordered a hot dog, popcorn and a soda. They said it would be 10 minutes for the hot dog (I said forget it), paid $3.50 for a box of popcorn that should be about a buck. Went back to my seat to eat it, and found that it was more than half burnt and enough salt to float a bowling ball. They wonder why we complain about concessions.
Must be Coach Miller's fault because we all know it certainly wouldn't be the responsibility of the administration!

Does Chartwells run the concessions?

The consession prices at all the venues are way outta hand these days. But to be fair, the prices were the same at the BG/Akron soccer match last week. $4 for a gatorade and $3 for a box of popcorn. Eat before or after the games...

C'mon, factman, I think we all know that it's Gregg Brandon's fault!

Exactly.
In other shocking news, they charge for parking and you have to purchase a ticket to see the game.

i don't even mind the price , IF you get a good quality product. That is not the case here. I will say the HUGE Frackolocolate (or somethin g like that) cookies looked great but I didn't try them.

BTW, do they sell beer in the Stroh? I'd gladly pay $3-5 for a cold one or two during the games.

Factman, I like you and all but I have the feeling you would blame the fisherman if you got a bone in your fillet.

I am at the Tiffin game, fourth event I have been here for, plus two hockey games. The selection sucks, the prices are nuts, and the quality is poor. Sad because there are so many stands and it is so easy to get to and from them. They said things would improve but they really got worse.
Hockey was especially bad.
Nice thing is that Stroh is next to so many places to eat......cheaper.....better.

I've come to expect the prices, but the food should be quality. I don't think fans should have to put up with the lack of quality of food that BG concessions offers.
