New ownership of AZZ.com

Post by Tricky_Falcon »

@azzdotcom: I believe I just sold ay-ziggy-zoomba.com More details to come in the days/weeks ahead.
@azzdotcom The website sale is to "one of our own…" I'm confident it'll be in good hands. Wasn't about $$, was about trust.

I first signed up for Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba as freshman in '01 it has helped me stay in touch with Falcon sports since graduating. Thanks Grant for creating this board and welcome to the potential new owner.

Yes, those were tweets from Grant.

And yes AZZ.com refers to this website.

Oh. I would say it's my old age showing, but I'm not even 30. I just don't get into the social networking like some people do, and the entire @ thing is confusing if you don't know the Twitter lingo.

Don't feel bad. I have a twitter account, and read it daily, and I wasn't sure exactly what was going on until I read the actual tweets on my phone ;)

Why do you want to blame Southern Pennsylvania. Isn't it Greg Christopher's fault.

I heard the new owners are going to turn this into an all-country format.

WHAT HE SAID!! :supz:
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."
~~USCHO Poster
"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Good news

Was the sale due to the threat of unionization of labor or foreign competition?

You did a great job creating a place for this community to grow. And knowing the "new Ziggy" is one of us is fantastic news.

You did inform the new owner about his responsibility to pay Flipper's health insurance?

The one constant through all the years, people, has been Grant. America is ruled by an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But AZZ.com has marked the time. This site, the messages, it is a part of our past. It reminds us of all that once was good, and that could be again.

This one of the few forums I've been a member of of where I haven't been banned after going postal on some jack hole that finally made me snap.... :)

There's a reason I don't own guns or live near a mall.... :)
