Great story from Noah today. He had jazz ensemble practice right after school, so he had to miss part of the middle school's baseball scrimmage. Coach said, "I hope this isn't going to become a habit."

Anyway, Noah shows up late, just in time to grab a bat and hit. The guys started telling him about the pitcher, he says, "don't worry, I got this guy." Then he proceeds to stroke the first pitch to the opposite field over the left fielder's head for a double.

When he got back to the dugout, the coach says, "Hey, does playing in the jazz band make everyone hit like that?"
