Took in the Aeros-Altoona Curve game today and watched Giovanni Soto throw a no hitter. He walked three on the day...one base runner scoring on a throwing error late in the 6th inning. Soto became the first Akron Aeros pitcher to throw a solo no-hitter at Canal Park, which opened April 10, 1997. It is only the second solo no-hitter in Aeros franchise history.
I've never seen a no hitter in person so that was very cool...Aeros continue to lead the Eastern League with the best overall record.

That's really neat to see a no-hitter in person.Falconfreak90 wrote:Took in the Aeros-Altoona Curve game today and watched Giovanni Soto throw a no hitter. It was! And $3 for a beer...still a bit much but not $7.50 at a MLB game. I think I'd rather watch Minor League over MLB these days.Tech83 wrote:That had to be a fun day.

Wow...that's cheap! What level is that? AA? The hens are still over $6-7 for a beer.Falconfreak90 wrote:It was! And $3 for a beer...still a bit much but not $7.50 at a MLB game. I think I'd rather watch Minor League over MLB these days.Tech83 wrote:That had to be a fun day.
