The Open Championship

I've never rooted harder for a player to lose a tournament than I did today for Adam Scott. He should take his extra-long old-man putter and shove it up his azz.

I don't think those playing at the highest level and still in their twenties should be using one.

Unfortunately, Ernie Els uses a long putter, too, but he's trying to revive his career and I'm completely comfortable using situational-golf-fan-ethics.

Did I want Scott to lose today, yes. But not because of anything to do with him or how he plays, but because of who his caddy is

I think the chest putters should be abolished. There's no reason pros should be using them, IMO.

Adam Scott is not in his 20s, he is 32, I believe. Ernie is using it to try and revive his career...same with Scott. Scott was up to #3 in the world 4-5 years ago and completely fell off because of his putting.

Sounds like the USGA is going to ban "anchoring" a putter for professionals in the not to distant future.

I root against anybody using those stupid belly putters.

Was really hoping to see tiger rebound his career with another major but that triple bogey ruined his chances.
