Coca-Cola ad from 1953

So, we just got back from vacation in Georgia and North Carolina and had a great time. When we visited "The World of Coca Cola" in Atlanta, I noticed the ad below. I first noticed the Cleveland Browns, but then was sort of curious as to having an ad from that era that featured only African-American players. I tried to ask the docent a question about it, but she was a windbag and I was unable to do so before they moved us to the next exhibit.

After I got back, I did a little searching and found that it was created as a poster that was displayed in predominantly African-American neighborhoods at the time. Here's a link to someone who was selling a copy:

Cleveland Browns Poster

I thought that some on here would be interested from a Browns history perspective.

Love seeing posters of former Rockets here on the AZZ board! Very exciting find. Interesting history on it as well.

Help me with that one. I looked them all up didn't see any connection to UT.

Emlen Tunnel played football and hoops for UT. He was a key player the year we were NIT runners-up when the NIT was for the National Championship. Broke his neck as a frosh and couldn't play football, then picked it up again after the War (WWII) but finished his career at Iowa. Better known at UT for basketball but he started in the backfield when my parents were going to UT.

I just automatically assumed you posted it out of respect for the Rockets.
