Homecoming

I can't believe it's been a year since I've been in Bowling Green, OH. A year.
I guess that's what happens when you live as far away as I do. I looked forward to homecoming in 2009, 2010, and 2011, but this time, not sure why, I've been basically counting down the days since like August or something. I don't know if it's because it's been a year since I've been in town, or because I'm bringing the girlfriend to see Bowling Green for the first time, or it's just because I'm getting old, but I really do miss this university.
I've been aching to get some Pollyeyes, some Jed's, hit the nightlife while I'm still in my 20s, etc for far too long now. I've been aching to see my fraternity brothers, my old roommates, my Dance Marathon friends, my church friends, and perhaps even my old professors. I've been aching to see campus, the continuing construction, the town I always enjoyed riding my bike around, and of course BG home football.
OK, enough reminiscing, end of work tomorrow and my airplane heading west can't come soon enough. See all my Falcons this weekend! Roll Along!!
