What is your favorite bike shop? I have been to Fremont, BG, Toledo, and all points in between checking out bike shops looking for a hybrid/fitness bike.
I haven't biked seriously since the mid-nineties and want to get started again and thought I would see what AZZ.com had to say.

Wersell's in toledo- people are knowledgeable and we've found their prices are competitive-bought five bikes there over the years but haven't been there in a while. The place in BG (Cycleworks maybe?) did a very nice job of fixing up my wife's Bianchi and got the work done fairly quickly and at a good price. Again, its been a couple years since we had much done anywhere but those two places were the best I've found.

Love Wersells...my family has bought bikes from them....not that we're huge on the sport..for over 40 years. Had really nice luck recently on some repairs at Reggies in Toledo...but it was my kids vintage Schwinn Stingray (circa1980) so the mechanics weren't that challenging.

That is good to hear, my first choice at the moment is a Kona from Wersell's.

Got my new fitness buddy today, aptly named Dr. Dew, a 2012 Kona bike. This was a divine intervention as it has better components than I could afford and has a name to help battle my nemesis, Mountain Dew.

Of course the orange accents don't hurt.

Dr. Dew: my kids laugh cuz I mix Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew at fast food places and call it Dr. Dew. Apt. Ride it like you stole it.

Agreed. I bought a new bike last summer, but I was only riding maybe once a week, if that. Nothing cool like this orange bike. Mine is a white mongoose with black and neon green lettering.
