I like that they said she's worked her way up to that point and that she truly looks forward to this opportunity. The only problem I would have had with this situation would be if she was going to officiate just to say that a female officiated in the NFL. That's like Danica Patrick racing in NASCAR with top-notch equipment, getting tons of press, and finishing 25th or worse in virtually every race. Thankfully, this story does not appear to be that way.
