Paper Cutter?

Post by pdt1081 »

So, my wife is a teacher. Last night I get handed a stack of papers and a pair of scissors, and hear the phrase "please help." I hate scissors. Anybody have a recommendation for a heavy duty paper cutter? One that will last a few years and a few thousand (maybe more) cuts. I really hate using scissors, did I mention that?

This baby should do the job for you. You can probably talk them down to $17,000.

It seems that I know someone who cut the tip of their finger off with a paper cutter....

Hmmmm, perhaps I didn't quite think this through. I guess I need to look for a paper cutter with some sort of "parental lock" for when I'm asked to help....

In college I used one quite a bit at my internship to cut thin aluminum. Never failed, every time I got it out everyone would walk through the shop and tell me to make sure I didn't cut my finger. I always wanted to stuff a ketchup packet in the finger of my glove, but was always too afraid they wouldn't see the humor.

So... the tip of the tip? and that's not a tip? Sounds like a tip squared.

Ahh, I forget you went to Wood County Junior College- a tip is a slender, pointed extremity. The tip of a finger would be slender and pointed, hence the corner of that tip would also fit the definition... oh, never mind.

Nah, the one southwest of there. In Bowling Green. You don't remember going there? I have that problem sometimes, too. Age, drugs, alcohol or a combination of the three.

My wife is a teacher. When she asks me to do something like that I respond with "You should have done that in July." She gets mad, leaves the room and I watch sports in peace.
I like that steak comes from cows. That is why a cow will not think twice about eating you.

Well, my wife decided she wanted an additional job for the summertime, so I really can't complain about small stuff like that.
