First off, apologies if I am repeating info located somewhere else on this board. I have family in the Tallahassee area and I am hearing we are actively recruiting a QB from Florida High- the lab school loosely associated with Florida State University. The QB's name is Trey Revell and I understand he was mentioned as first team all state for (I believe) a smaller school classification.
My contact says he is quite a good looking player who runs and throws "equally" well. It would figure that perhaps either the aforementioned Anthony Glaud from NJ or this fellow might join the committed Cin LaSalle QB Sheehan in this class.
I also understand we can expect several players to sign from Florida and Georgia. I know this has been a targeted area by us in the past and it looks like it will be again.
Up north, I hear our MI recruit Derek Brighton may be tried first at WR as opposed to DB. A guy who watched him all year says he is speedy and shifty. Another player (I do see this possibility mentioned on the site) who might help us at WR is RS QB Freddie Barnes. I understand this young man might see the field somewhere as an athlete as opposed to holding the clip board for AT- get best football players on the field theory.
Now if we can just get that kicker.....
Go Falcons!

I checked this Revell kid out via Google.....he's a four year starter and ranked as high as the number 82 player in Florida. Rivals and Scout don't seem to have anything on him. But it looks like he's drawing interest from us, West Virginia and Kansas, so at least we're in good company.
Between Revell, Glaud, Kirby and Bynes, we ought to be able to land another decent QB prospect to go along with Sheehan.
