Falcon52- What kinda wage are we talking here? and What would we have to do? the past 2 weeks ive been reading standards manuals, adn an 800 page pdf file about substation design. IF I didnt have this site, I would have jumped out the window of my office building by now.

I don't know about you guys, but I do NOT think that Temple would be a good pick-up for the MAC. We need teams that help raise the level of play in the conference. We already have too many basement dwellers IMHO. I do think the other teams BGFAUT listed though would be good additions.

I respect Southern Mississppi and Troy, but these programs are never going to make sense for us -- or for them, really -- unless we are desperately trying to stay at 12 or nine some point in the future. Just too far away.

Great point Schad, although we did have UCF...Not that I am advocating that was a good pick up...

We took a gamble with UCF, knowing that they would come in here and dominate the "Middle America Conference", and we would be left fighting for second place behind them.

That was why I added the "?????" I THink temple is a bad team. And I dotn want them, but a lto of people do, and they are in a large market area, and maybe playing teams that arent as big physically, they could get on their feet again. Of course if this happened, they would still get bombed by every team in the new uber conference.

I added all those southern teams, b/c they (sorta) are in an area of each other. there would for sure be 1 or 2 teams that clearly wouldnt fir in that southern division, but if you did it that way, the divisions would be lopsided. It would be nice if we could lure a lower tier school out of a bigger conf, with the idea of revmaping the MAC completely. If we drop like 7 teams, and agree to add 7, I bet we could intheory snap a northwestern, or a team like that, I think they would be competitive in the MAC, they may even like the idea of having a chance to win a conf title. Who knows. I figure the only way this has a shot is if all the teams in question will do it based on if the other teams do. I doubt anyone would join unless all the others agreed to as well.

But the BcS has to go in order for that. The worst team in a BcS conf is viewed as better than the top team in a mid major conf right now, and that is wrong.

I was sort of forced to attend bancroft high by my parents as my dad was a graduate. Also it was the 60's and my mind & body were filled with evil things and I really didn't know what I was doing. Everything has been cleansed now and I have no ties at all to that place. After going there I swore I would never put my kids through what I went through. That's how they ended up at BG and I support them 100%.

good answer. I claim nothing to that school either. It has done nothign but take my money (i even have to pay them while im on co-op right now) and cause me stress and screw up my life. It can crash and burn for what i care.
