Texas Tech is simply bringing the hammer down on Nebraska... 42-10 with 2 mins left in the third. Oh how the mighty have fallen...

yeah, 70-10 with the clock running down... remember all the years of teams like Nebraska playing teams like Texas Tech and throwing the extra 50 yard TD pass in the fourth "because 70 points looks better than 63"?

Remember the scene from "A Christmas Story" where Ralphie throws the thug in the snowbank and beats the crap out of him?

Yeah, same thing, but now Ralphie has a running game.

Well I don't remember Nebraska throwing a 50 yard TD on ANYONE. But I get the point, and it is well made. About time some of these schools kick back

Good point. How about "running a 50 yard option for a TD with the first string in because '70 sounds better than 63'"???

What was worse were those Houston teams who would reach 80-100 points a game... now those were ugly games.
