Tailgate location

Post by SW-MI Falcon »

Just wondering if the forum tailgate location will be the same this Saturday (East lot-far north with ziggy.com flag flying) as the first game. We're planning to arrive about 12PM-1PM from our three hour drive.

GO FALCONS!

We'll be there. The flag is Grant's (a GREAT homemade edition), so I cannot speak for what time the flag will be there, but that is the location. Whether he's there or not we'll be there! :)

hahaha...Yeah, I'll be there. Don't know if I'll be able to convince the rest of my party that a cold rainy day in BG is worth it or not, but I'll be there. Look for the red VW with the flag.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Definitely bringing the fryer this week. Dad bought some pizza rolls as well, but you can never have too many ;) I'm gonna head over to GFS tonight to get some other foods to deep fry. A guy I know was supposed to be making like 60 pounds of ribs, but he's also a fairweather wuss, and has said that he won't be doing it if its ugly weather, so I'm not really counting on him with the recent forecasts...We'll probably bring some burritos or something else that would be good to deep fry.

We should get there around 10:00/11:00.

Along with Grant's banner, Look for the big BGSU flag in that area with a dark green Ford Escape, BG helmet on top. My bud Mark and I should be hitting the lot by noon. Cuz the beer always tastes better at that time! Right hammb? BTW, hammb...can ya save a spot for us? I'll try parking sideways so I can save a couple spots as well....just for you FF!!!!!

On the road. . .

Post by Lord_Byron »

I'll see you guys tomorrow.

We're picking the princess up at kindergarten at 11:30 and hitting the road. Hope to be there by 6:00, get some dinner and still catch part of the hockey game tonight.

I'll mosey over to the tailgate around 12:00 or so. Need to get to the bookstore in the morning, though.

Tailgate time

Post by Class of 61 »

Looks like all "great minds" think alike...Joyce and I have to drop a CARE package off for her daughter (BG Soph), then are bringing her with us to tailgate...hopefully, to be there by 12:30 or so....

Mike, as long as you're "saving spots", try to stretch out the vehicle to make room for the Red Intrepid.

I told Marta that we'd try to save her some spots. I'll spread the coolers & stuff out to try and save as many spots as I can! Last game when I got there I didn't even have the option of saving many spots, as much of our area was already full. Hopefully won't have to worry about that this week!

Joe Neikirk and son Joey will be with me, Lisa, and Tony. John Lindahl is planning on coming too. Sounds like a good group will be there including several SW-MI- BGAlums. We'll be at the tailgate location about 1pm. If I don't see you tailgaiting, save me a beer in the Falcon Club tent!
