I heard Stan Hill was supposed to be a star down there this year before the season started. Being that I haven't heard much about him at all, seeing them on the who's not list doesn't suprise me.
Also, this quote ..."He's not quite the runner Harris was, but he's growing into a better passer completing over 76% of his throws over the last three games." ... about Omar I disagree with. I think he's a better runner than Harris but the offensive style seems to be a little different this year when it comes to the run. Maybe the coaches will mix it up more as his career goes on but for now I sure don't mind the passing game because we are winning!!!!

Harris would bust off on the runs when he didn't see people open though. Omar finds open people even when they aren't considered open at all. I have seen him squeeze a lot of passes in that I normally wouldn't like to see thrown, but if he can do it, awesome! Harris hardly ever tried that and when he did it was picked off. IMO, if people covered our guys better then Omar would probably be running more. As of now though, he desn't really need to run.BGSUfanatUT wrote:I think right now he is nto as good of a runner as Harris was. I think he will be batter when he's done, but he only has likw 195 yards in 6 games. not Harris numbers at all.
And congrats on your 700th earlier...gotta stay friendly to the post padders!

Running...
Harris was more of a "tailback" style runner, thus equating to a better runner. This is also why so many run plays were called for Harris. Omar is a pass first type of quarterback that will run if it requires running to elude the defenders. Omar intends to be more of a thrower than a runner. He is not trying to be like Josh, but he is trying to be like Omar and he has his a different style than Josh.
