Loud, only because every student had those annoying thunder sticks.
BTW, they were also one of the most rude fans. Of course, that could probably be said by any fan. But, I couldn't go to the bathroom without a couple of people welcoming BG to 'Chicago speed'. What ever that means..

because they can sell 106,000 tickets, and concessions, and keep 100% of the proceeds. if osu was to play in cincinatti (65,535 seats) or cleveland (over 73,200 seats), they'd lose revenue from 30-40K tickets, and concession purchases, not to mention that there would be some rental fee involved for playing at one of these sites.
It would be an away game and they've done it before. See 2002 in the link below:
They'd still get the same amount of revenue from playing their requisite number of home game.
Of course, they've "done it before", and it was a Cincy home game, but NOT at Nippert....rather PB Stadium...but I get your drift...remember that OSU many years ago also refused to play a MAC school in basketball on the road again, I believe after they lost a game at UT.

Then how is Minnesota coming to the Doyt in 2008?
And, an even bigger question...how is Minnesota opening the 2006 season AT KENT STATE?????
As far as OSU hoops, they've always been too chickensh*t to play teams from Ohio. That will change next year when Cleveland State hosts the Buck$. About time they play an Ohio school.
