Away game ticket form...

Post by Falconfreak90 »

Received mine in the mail last week. OSU tix are $59 each & UT $34...I will probably be flying solo into the Glass Bowl this year. I'll also be getting 4 for Ohio. Akron? Can get those the day of the game at the RB. FIU, CMU and Temple, unfortunately, won't happen.

Postmark order by July 1st and you're guaranteed OSU tickets.
I figure I'm shelling out about $800 for tix this year.
What else is this important???

GO FALCONS!!

I think we shelled out $500+ for the home games and some selected away games. The only road games we're making are OSU, Ohio, Akron, and Toledo. Should be an interesting season. I really believe we have as good a chance at winning the East Division as anyone else. There really isn't a dominant team in the East Division. Toledo is going to be breaking in a new QB and Northern was shown to be vulnerable on defense against Akron in the MAC Title Game. I know no one expects it this season, and I'm cautiously optimistic about this season myself, but sometimes you win championships when you least expect to. After watching Akron win the MAC Football Title last fall, I don't think anything will surprise me this season.

I got 16 games I'm going to this year, 11 UVA games, 4 Bowling Green games, and one Princeton game...the UVA season tickets were $460 for a pair, and for the 5 away games, I'm gonna rely on player-guest tickets for GT, FSU, and Pitt, and scalp a ticket for the Duke game for like $5, and for VT, I already talked to a big booster to get me two extras, and incase that fails, I also have ordered a season ticket through virginia tech ($320 for 8 games)...I'm also relying on player guest tickets for Miami and Toledo, scalping a wisconsin ticket, and BGSU33 is hooking me up with tOSU tickets. Princeton game will also be a player guest ticket...I'm also flying up to Chi for a Bears game and STL to see the Bears on Monday night, and I might make it up to DC to see the Skins and Eagles too...19 games in one season...starting it off with 2 on Labor Day...that's not even counting bowls...I can't wait.

Speaking of player guest tickets, how many do the BGSU players get to the home/away games?

Trust me Karl...I wish we could make it BiG time. Unfortunately, with the budget and the 9 games we can make, it just wasn't in the cards this year. :( :( :x

I am so glad you and Noah can drive down the block and see the Falcons in Lincoln. We WILL make it there someday soon. Perhaps 2008?

C ya soon. GO FALCONS!

99,
I like your analysis. While I won't say we're gonna win 11 games and roll thru the MAC, I don't think we're gonna be down like some think. I think our program is at the point where we can compete for division titles on a yearly basis. Sure the young players need to step up but our recruiting has been solid. We'll find out just how good very soon.

I think we have a good shot to win the East...then the MAC. Take it one step at a time.

And look at last season...I was one of the folks thinking BG would go no worse than 9-2 (had PJ, Omar and a few others been healthy all year, I think we would have gone 8-3 at worst) and we finished 6-5. I want to win all 12 games this year. If we lose to Wisky and OSU and win the East, fine with me. I want to see BG back in the title game and bring home the trophy.

C ya soon, bro! GO BG!~

That would be awesome. We can't shorten the drive, but we can certainly save you money on lodging! Stay an extra day and we'll make it an educational trip - we live about five minutes from the spot where Washington crossed the Delaware and kicked the Hessians' butts!

99: Good points. With a young team, a lot will depend on catching some breaks and gaining momentum.
