Josh may be in trouble as far as the Giants go. I just found this little tidbit from Len Pasqaurelli's tip sheet on espn.com.
"By all accounts, Jared Lorenzen, the onetime 300-pound quarterback, had an excellent spring for the New York Giants and will go to camp with a viable chance to win the primary backup job behind starter Eli Manning. "
That likely means Josh will be in a battle with Rob Johnson and Tim Hasselbeck for a roster spot. Both of those guys have more experience than Josh, which means he is really going to have to impress to stick around. I was hoping Lorenzen would fade away.

Roll Along!
Here's the latest on Josh. He just completed an internship in a college admissions office in New Jersey, and he'll be heading home to Westerville. It looks like he may be done playing football.

They even dropped a mention about "his wife Kirsten"... I wonder how Tami feels about that.

And as far as the hanging up the cleats part goes, it's disappointing to see a Falcon so close to making it and not quite getting there, but I'll take that kind of person coming out of BGSU any day of the week. Putting BG's name on the pro stage is great, but representing the University with class and personality like that is immeasurable.

Maybe he could, but I assume the pay is low (especially after the high Canadien taxes are taken out), so maybe he'd prefer getting a real job and just playing football in his backyard at home.I watched Edmonton and Winnipeg play Saturday evening. Both teams used the spread offence. Why couldn't Josh play in the CFL?

I may be mistaken and some people may know him here personally, but at this point I think the idea that he may be hanging it up is putting the cart before the horse. He still has the opportunity to play in Columbus with the Destroyers. he can take that, get a paycheck and work towrd his other goals as well.
I doubt he is done. Unless someone has spoken to him directly.
