Love the brown jerseys with orange. I wish they wore that every home game.PGY Tiercel wrote:
I do prefer orange with the brown jerseys (instead of white).
The Cleveland Browns did that for a few seasons.
If we wear that every game, ain't no team in America gonna look like us. And I like that.

Not sure I like or agree with the "Building A New Foundation" theme. It seems to me our own media guide cover contradicts that theme.
The foundation is there- it says so right on the cover- 2003 MAC West Champs, 2003 MCB Champs, 2004 GMAC Bowl Champs, 2005 MAC East co-Champs.
I'd say the above should serve as a good foundation. We need to BUILD on that foundation, not build a new one. The foundation is in place, lets take it to the next level.
Yeah I know we are building a new building and that is a cute picture and all, but why not go with "BUILDING ON A SOLID FOUNDATION" or something other than implying we are starting over. To me that seems like there is a new coach or something like when Coach Larranaga took over the basketball poster had the players at the construction site of his new house- that made sense.
Just some of the off the wall things that run through my head and annoy me. By no means I am I disparaging those who came up with the idea or the layout, I appreciate their hard work and will enjoy thumbing through my media guide when it arrives in the post.
all bowling green
I think the pic is much better when you see the Sebo Center and the whole scheme of the cover. Cropped like that does look kind of fruity.
Oh, and since the Sept. 9th game was mentioned... my infinite wisdom took a few extra months to realize that if I'm taking a week off to get to Cleveland, and heading back to work on the 9th, I can take one more vacation day and get two games out of the trip. See ya at the Doyt!

"I don't believe I can name a coach, anywhere, anytime, anyhow, who did it better than Doyt Perry."
