There's little argument in my mind that the UT win at Penn State is what pushed the MAC to another level in terms of national attention and recruiting status. The crazy '03 season where it seemed like every MAC team was beating up on big name teams also helped, but I honestly can say UT really helped the MAC get the ball rolling.
MAC title a joke?

Being from Toledo, I grew up being a Rockets fan until I made the smart decision of coming to BG!
I can admit that I pull for the Rockets in all non-conference games, and even in MAC games where a possibility of a BG/UT MAC title game is in effect. I think Toledo does a great job of giving the MAC positive media exposure, they always seem to win one or two big games a year, and it helps put the MAC on the map.

The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.
