No more Gibby?

Post by TG1996 »

From the Terrel White "Blade" column posted earlier, it looks like we're getting a new color commentator for BG football, Cal Bowers.

Gibby excepted a business/work opportunity in the Atlanta area. But I am sure he will remain a Falcon Forever- never know where guys like that might turn up!

I am sure Cal Bowers will do a very nice job.

Go Falcons!

Cal is one of my fave OL over the years. He's been successful off the field in his business life as well.

Welcome to the booth, Cal!

Thanks Gibby...for everything you've done on the field and in the booth. Best of luck to ya in Atlanta.

YEAH!!!

I love that guy - He and I were homecoming king finalists in 1995 and he worked with me as a tour guide during orientation.

Cal Bowers was also the first person I saw with a BG tattoo (falcon head on his leg)

We weren't like good buddies or anything, but we got along great when we worked together and he did a lot to eliminate any pre-conceived notions I had about dumb jocks.

I am excited.
