I love the ACC, but look at the top 4 teams. FSU, Miami, vt, and Boston College < LSU, Auburn, Florida, UGA....Even if you sub Clemson in for BC its still not close. LSU killed Miami last year in the Peach. I'd take any of the top 4 in the SEC over the ACC this year...Hell Drew Weatherford is our preseason All-ACC QB. And one minor thing, how do you have UVA in the bottom 4 and not Wake Forest? UVa is probably 6-7th in the ACC...

LSU > Miami
Auburn > FSU
UGA > vt
Florida > BC
Alabama = Clemson
Arkansas = GT (for this year anyways...Arkansas will probably finish better this sesason)
USC = UVa
Teneessee > md
ole Miss (slighty >)ncsu
Miss St, Vandy, KY = unc, Wake Duke

Here is how I rank them. Just use a scale from 1-10. 10 being the a top 5 team with NC hopes, 5 being a middle of the road 5-6, 6-5 team, and 1 being Temple on most Saturdays.

ACC SEC
1. FSU 9 1. Auburn 9
2. Miami 9 2. LSU 9
3. VT 9 3. UF 9
4. Clem 8 4. UGA 9
5. BC 8 5. Ten 7
6. GT 7 6. Ala 7
7. NCST 6 7. USC 7
8. Mary 6 8. Ark 5
9. UNC 6 9. Miss 3
10. UVA 6 10. Vand 2
11. WF 5 11. UK 2
12. Duke 2 12. MSU 2

total= 81 total=71

Thats a double digit win in my book. Notice how I support most of you in that the top of the SEC is by far better than any other conference in the nation. However people are so blown away by that, or just strictly cant afford ESPN Gameplan to see how the bottom 4 or 5 teams fair against not only the rest of the conference, but other conferences bottom teams as well!

I say the SEC going into 2006. Doesn't matter what happened last year.

Just so everyone knows that little system I made up was for the 2006 season. I agree it doesnt matter what happend last year, in which the ACC was the best conference... at least wins and losses wise! Anyway I expect a repeat for the ACC and this time seperate even further ahead of the SEC, but its college football so anything can and will happen!

I have to say, I'm impressed. Obviously, I don't expect everybody to agree on this subject. However, after 23 votes, I think it is looking pretty close to how I would rank the conferences listed.

I know it isn't a statistically accurate poll, but I think it looks pretty fair.

Kudos.

Go Falcons!
