Watch Jahmal Brown on the highlight video

Post by Globetrotter »

I am watching it right now. All I can say is WOW. He has incredible athleticism. Incredible. If he is not playing at RB he must be one hell of a DB.

He starts at 2:27 seconds....

Wow that first run he makes 10 people miss. What an electric guy, I'd love to see him get some touches on the ball maybe ST /KR.

That some Reggie Bush-esque stuff right there. Mix him into the offense with some WR screen type stuff (assuming he can catch the ball).

Get the ball in that kid's hands.

I agree that we could use hime more at WR or maybe even RB than CB at this point. Although there is nothing wrong with having wealth on defense...

I must be light years ahead of everyone or something because when the recruit video came out him and kelvin davis stood out the most to me and everyone was on mahones nuts back then, although I am quite intreged to get back to bg and watch the scrimage to see what he can do at safety

jamhal brown will be a stud what ever position he plays whether it be running back in the future or if he sticks it out at cornerback...with that kind of athleticsm...it amazes me that he was only rated a three star when he was recruited but im sure as hell glad we got him

2 and a half weeks and we will be rocking the dawg pound at CBS

I talked up Brown a lot when the vid came out also...he has an amazing ablity (at least on the short clip I saw) to make people miss between the tackles. He reminds me a lot of Kevin Jones of the Lions. He may not have the burner speed to the corner, but he runs hard and is a nice mix of power and elusiveness.

I was most impressed with the kickers (Big Bird kicks PAT's and FG off the ground already!) DJ Young, Glaud, Brown and I really liked the athleticism of the LB's (Fells, Jakson and Magnone)

Just saw Sheehan, the video of him was awesome IMO. Watching the Video of Glaud and Rieke, Sheehan as a passer seemed much more fluid and hit his receivers in stride. Rieke I know is a TE now but his team was one of the best in his league. Sheehan also seemed to read the blitz well. This is all from a grainy 1 minute video so who knows, but I would not count out Tyler in anything.

I agree! I thought Sheehan was one of the more impressive guys on that video.

Bottom line-Coach Brandon and staff landed some very talented players... again. This class, on paper, looks awesome. A few have made quite an impact on the field already.

MAC Title in '06? Why not?

17 freakin days to go....NICE.
