UW loses a fullback for season

Post by reyray82 »

http://www.uwbadgers.com/sport_news/fb/ ... 6_20_06_fb

while "browsing" the wisky site i came across this article. Then I went to collegefootballnews and found out he was figured to be a major part of the offense, especially with stocco not playing.

odds may be swinging in our favor

You can cheer for a victory without thinking that the odds are in our favor.

Our starting QB is suspended, our only real returning WR is hurt, and our starting DE will all miss this game. Yep, the odds certainly in our favor.

Well, if Freddy Barnes were to lead us to victory in this one (not likely given his performance in the spring game and in practice, but still) then he's probably the QB for the rest of the season because Turner f'd up.

If BG can plug the middle I expect to win. I believe speed trumps size to a certain degree. I hope this is the year greg brandon shows that he is one of the best offensive minds and overall coaches in college football. I believe in the TEAM.

I dont believe we will be LUCKY if we escape the game in cleveland with a win. I will be happy, but not surprised when BG wins, unlike many of the fans on this site.

I like your style reyray82. I am confident we can win this game. OTOH, I won't be surprised if we lose. There are so many unknown factors in this game that need to be answered.

I think it's ok for people to be optimistic and pessimistic at this time. We have a lot of questions and this is a new season. Let's rock the lakefront!
