THE MAC REPORT Adds Broadcast Outlets in Toledo and Muncie
MAC Report Online.com publisher Dave Ruthenberg today announced that two broadcast radio stations will carry the weekly broadcast of THE MAC REPORT with more stations expected to be added soon.
WCWA 1230 AM, Toledo's home to Fox Sports Radio and broadcasts of the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians, will carry the show, the only weekly broadcast dedicated solely to Mid-American Conference Coverage, every Thursday at 11:00 pm starting with the show's football season debut on August 31, 2006.
"We are very proud to know that one of the area's most respected sports radio stations will be carrying our show and we are pleased that MAC fans throughout the Toledo/Bowling Green area will be able to listen to the show on Fox Sports Radio 1230," said Ruthenberg.
The University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University have a combined enrollment of over 42,000 students.
Also joining THE MAC REPORT broadcast family will be WCRD-FM 93.1 on the campus of Ball State University in Muncie, IN. WCRD-FM will carry THE MAC REPORT live every Wednesday at 6:00 pm starting August 30, 2006.
"Just as important to us, is the opportunity to deliver our show directly to campus outlets," said Ruthenberg. "WCRD was one of the first stations to approach MAC REPORT ONLINE (www.macreportonline.com) for on-air coverage and commentary and we are really pleased to take the next logical step in having THE MAC REPORT join the WCRD-FM family."
THE MAC REPORT, co-hosted by Dave Ruthenberg and Al Fellhauer, debuted last year as an Internet broadcast and remains the only broadcast that is dedicated to Mid-American Conference coverage. The show returns for its second season and will be available again over the Internet streamed live and via replay through All In Broadcasting and via podcast download in addition to over the air broadcasts.
MAC Report Online will again serve as the primary sponsor of the MAC REPORT.

This is great news! Kudos to you all for growing this so quickly!
Is there any chance that a Cleveland/Akron Affiliate might be added in the coming years? Not only are there two MAC schools in this market, but there are a TON of MAC alumni in this city. Quite frankly, MAC officials have done a pretty poor job of taking advantage of this market, so it would be great if you guys could. That reminds me, I've been meaning to say something about this...
Anyhoo, I know that some of us are hard on you guys and gals over at MRO, but you are all really doing some great things for this conference, and it is very much appreciated!
