Toledo gets series with Arizona, adds to great OCC schedule
Toledo gets series with Arizona, adds to great OCC schedule
The Rockets now have nonconference home games scheduled against Kansas this season, Purdue and Iowa State in 2007, Fresno State in '08, Boise State and Ohio State (in Cleveland) in '09, and Arizona in 2010!!! WOW! That is a helluva schedule to have for a MAC team, period. Toledo is doing a great job scheduling OOC games.

Toledo and Arizona aren't going to be playing each other. Both of those schools are dead to me, so if they played each other that would be...like...the end of everything.
This game must be stopped.

Zona might be good by then too. Mike Stoops seems like a good HC and the PAC 10 is down a bit from previous seasons...
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

Stay Away Bleeding Orange. You may not be able to breathe if the Arizonians come to Ohio. Add that to the smell from the glAZZ bowl and you could be in big trouble. Oh, and Arizona is already good. They finally found an offense in the last half of last year, most notably destroying then undefeated, No. 6 ranked UCLA. I think they should be a real player in the PAC this year.

In all honesty, this might be "the" best non-conference schedule over a several year span that any MAC team has ever had. Think about it...Kansas in 2006, Purdue and Iowa State in 2007, Fresno State in '08, Boise State in 2009 and Arizona in 2010. And to top that all off, Ohio State in Cleveland as well. What school has ever compiled a home schedule like this before? If this was BG's schedule, we'd be doing backflips.

I don't know Miami's schedule off hand, but I have seen a list of future home OOC games for them and I think it just might be better than Toledo's. Both Miami and Toledo have done a great job with scheduling. Hopefully the rest of the MAC will find it easier to schedule good games too.

That was a fluke, they got for a big game and lack the consistanc to play week in and out at that level, sorry, not a player in pac beyond spoiler.Bleeding Orange wrote:HAHA!
