Omar makes the first cut. Man, the pressure on him for this week's final preseason game in enormus. I hope they give him a "long" look. The certainly have given Boyd every chance to lose the job.

I'm really to the point where I think the Steelers have decided to only keep 2 QBs. I don't agree with the decision, but they think they can sign a QB to backup Batch if (when) Ben gets nicked. There are a lot of signs coming out of Steeler camp that neither Omar nor Boyd may make the 53.

Maybe if Omar sets their hair on fire this week in the game he can change their mind.

I am not worried about him making the 53 man roster. I just hope the Steelers get him on their practice squad. Maybe he can then go to Europe this Spring and get some valuable playing time. Boyd did that last year and he seems much more comfortable under center and running the offense. Omar needs some experince running a pro-style offense.
