Hammb -- this is an offshoot of the other thread, but have you ever left your car down there overnight? We're thniking about taking cabs back to Lakewood after W. 6th after the game. ... I'm wondering what the clientele, so to speak, is like in that lot post-game.
I have left my car down there numerous times. It is has always been fine the next day. Knock on wood.

I'll be rolling in around 3:00 with about 5 others. A couple in my group went to OU, but we don't hold that against them. Look for a cornhole set with the "real, authentic, retro, whatever the buzzword is now" falcon logo on it. I'll be wearing a orange BG jersey with the number 13 and MOREFIELD cross the shoulders. I hope to see ya'll there. ROLL ALONG!

Freak, You'll be about a mile from my house when you're at Cedar point. I can actually hear the roller coasters and people screaming if the wind's blowing from the North. Enjoy and spend lots of money. Sandusky needs the tourism dollars.

I'm so pumped for Saturday!!! Me and a buddy will be rolling in to tailgate sometime between 2 and 3. Hopefully I can find my way to the west side lot without much trouble. Like Hamb, I have always parked in the muni lot for Browns games. Can't wait to see all the AZZ crew, drink some beers, and watch some Falcon Football!!!

I'm thinking about renting a donkey to carry my cases of beer from the hotel that's situated about a mile away.

Yeah, car should be fine in the west lot after the game. That area should pretty much dessert post-game as it is a bit of a walk from anything on the weekend other than the stadium.

Well I don't want cake & ice cream on my car any more than I want it stolen! I think I'll just drive back to the hotel :)

mjmorefield,

As a kid, my parents took us to the Point every year. I've seen that place change over the years and it is, without a doubt, THEE best amusement park in the galaxy. If you see a dude with a #90 white traveling BG jersey (I've got 6 jerseys total....2 brown, 2 white and 2 orange) at the top of the Millenium, you'll know who it is. Josh is tall enough to ride Top Thrill Dragster so we'll see what the line is like. If it's more than an hour and a half, We'll have to do it another day cuz I want to ride every coaster in the park at least 3X. We figured with most kids back in school and people at work, it would be best to go on Friday. Josh and Jake start school Tuesday. We'll be there from 10 to 10...opening and closing the place down. I love the Point!
What a great way to kick off the season! CP on Friday, BiG BG win on Saturday. Sunday and Monday? Recover and relax cuz we have another game on the 9th. LOL

GO FALCONS!!
