I'd call it more Big Brother shouting down Little Brother. Either way, our confidence in sure victory this year is no where near your confidence in sure victory last year. Maybe that is stuck in my craw still.

Perhaps you really need to let things go. That kind of thing happens everytime a school has a player the caliber of Omar, and that doesn't happen very often to any school. Get over it, and then work on getting over yourself.

So it's OK for your fan base to be overconfident (last year) and we just have to "deal with it" but when we're overconfident we're called every name in the book? Pot calling the kettle black don't you think?

Wisconsin does not have an Omar-type player this year. What Wisconsin has is a lot of injuries, and a lot of young players on both sides of the ball. Plus, you never heard Bowling Green fans last year using terms like "inferior competition."

If you're not careful, this pot is going to start calling the kettle functionally illiterate.

Totally agree about Miami in 2003. They were better than Ohio State. They would have beaten OSU in the Shoe....they were that good.

Could have...could have beaten OSU in the shoe...still not sure they would have. They were a wonderful team, and I do think they were the best all around team we played that season, but before I grant them a victory in the horseshoe I cannot help but remember how badly Ben played in the one road Big10 game they played that year. They certainly could've beaten OSU, and I think they were a better team, but when going into a place like the shoe (or into Iowa) the better team doesn't always win.

Again with the name calling? It's gonna hurt worse getting beat by a team with SO much youth and SO many injuries. Stocco may treat this like an NFL preseason game, come in for the first 2-3 series to get his timing with the offense and then sit the rest of the game and let the backups get some real game action. If you want to call this a real game.

Yeah, that last comment was meant to be incendiery but isn't this what boards are all about?!?!?!!?!?

I've waited and debated long enough. I think the game will be a close one, probably more of a defensive struggle. Therfore I'm going with BG 24
Wisconsin 21. The difference will be a field goal made by Big Bird. I'm super excited for the game! GO FALCONS!

You know...if Sharon would've caught that late last quarter pass 10 yards from the endzone we would've won that game. Don't forget we got stopped inches from the endzone with less than 10 seconds on the clock as well! Take another look at the game and you'll see we should've beaten Wisconsin last year.

After last year's game, you shouldn't be overconfident at all. We both lost a lot.
