Iowa State 45, Toledo 43, Final in 3OT. Tough, tough loss for UT and the MAC. But what a game.

Does anybody know what happened to Scooter McDougle? I thought he was supposed to be the go-to-guy for them. Did I miss something?

Last I heard, Scooter was overweight and had some academic issues...I don't know if he's even eligible. He had a great run late in 2004 before blowing out his knee in the MAC championship against Miami. It's too bad that he hasn't been able to return to that form because that kid was a heck of a footbal player.

Really tough loss for Toledo...the TE Hopkins had an insane game, but he couldn't hang onto the two point conversion toss and the Rockets go home on the down side...can't really call them losers because they seem to have played a great football game against a tough opponent.

We have the talent to hang with teams like Toledo and Iowa State, but it's going to be up to the coach's to get that talent to jell.
