Completely agree about the coaching. CMU had a much better chance of winning that game. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. Why take out Lefours (SP?). CMU will definitely be competing for the MAC west.

I know it!!!! That is thee worst coached game I have ever seen in my life!!!!!!! Good Lord if they would have just lined up and played a normal football game they would have won it with ease!!! Who in the heck makes your O-line line up on the opposite hash and not move for an entire play when you have all the momentum in the world and are driving to tie the game! oh man I am livid right now and I dont even like CMU. Man that was some piss poor coaching throughout that game and they still ALMOST won. UGHHH

The horrible play at the end was first down, I believe. Maybe 2nd. QB had a couple guys kinda open, but running like that, I'd throw it into the UP.

Its not the fact that he threw the INT, I dont blame him. He had one guy snap him the ball and 2 guys run out for a pass. The entire offensive line and a tight end stayed on the opposite hash and never moved... I mean they were in there 3 point stance the entire play and no one on BC even lined up with them, they just all englufed the center and went for the sack on the QB, and he threw it up for grabs and it got picked. Man what a dumb call!

I totally agree. The players should be ticked at the coaches for that loss, bucause it's all on them. CMU will put a scare into the MAC West this year, but no one should have to worry about being out-coached, just outplayed. I wish that game wasn't in Mt. Anything But Plesant (a.k.a the sixth ring of hell). God I have CMU!!!!!

The call didn't bother me. They could have won it right there. If they practiced that "Poe Ditch Rat" or whatever you want to call it, the quarterback needs to execute and throw it out of bounds or something.

What intrigued me was the way CMU's defense played. They weren't big, but they were fast and to the ball. It gives me some hope that we will be okay this year, if the reports we are hearing about our D are true.

I didnt think their D was that impressive. They just have 2 studs in Bazuin and Cutts. One of the LB's was decent and everyone else was just kind of out there...

I'm kind of confused as to why BC threw the ball around so much. One would think they could have pounded that defense into the ground.

Any chance Wisky can hire their head coach in the next 24 hours?

Yeah I agree. They could have had a successful running game with Caldendar, but they seemed intent on rolling Matt Ryan out and throwing down the field. I did work well enough for the win and Tom O'Brien is a fine coach so I'd say BG is better off going up against an unproven Bielema!
