Keith, Toledo, OH: Ivan, Big follower of the MAC. 3 good teams in the west. Bowling Green, Toledo, and Northern Illinois. Who do you think is the better team right now. Hate to say it but it looks like BG has an explosive offense, and probably the best Sophmore QB in the nation with Omar Jacobs? Who do you think is the best team.

Ivan Maisel: (1:09 PM ET ) Bowling Green has kind of snuck up on me too, but, to be honest with you, I can't decide between them and NOrthern. Toledo just scares me a little bit based on their early season defensive struggles. If I had to pick somebody, I'd probably go with Northern.

At least he did not say Toledo. I can live with Northern, after all they did beat us.

seems like the guy ASKING the question answered the question for him too. I'll be more impressed when journalists start taking the initiative (or the journalists that already do) to say WHY they think one team is better than the other, other than "BG is good, I go with NIU because I see they beat BG, and Toledo's defense couldn't swat a mosquito before it ran for 300 yards on them".

Well I noticed when I voted at foxsports toledo that BG has over 80% of the vote as to who is the better team. Either no one is voting for Toledo, or Toledoians simply dont know how to vote. Now I can see why Bush and Kerry spend so much time in Toledo

If some of our students here are gung-ho enough, going to the computer labs at Jerome and voting from each machine in the browsing labs would help too.

Thats just it, if we cant get the students to come to the game, i dont think we could get them to go to the computer lab, unless we told the guys Paris Hilton was performing live on the net, and told something similar to the girls

I don't think Beano Cook realizes there is college football played outside the BCS conferences. Him and Trev Alberts should have a dual to at least get rid of one of them. With our luck though, they probably would both miss.

at the last game and lately getting the students to the game wasn't the problem with attendance. don't dog on us. Our problem is our inability to dress for the weather so that we may stay past half time. :)
It's good to see some recognition from the national media and from an appearant UT fan.

hey, brandon was happy with us at the homecoming game...

it was the alumni he called out after the game, not the students.
