Bowling Green’s Sean O’Drobinak is picking up where he left off last football season.
By catching at least one pass in the Falcons’ first three games, the junior tight end from Crown Point has extended his streak to eight straight.
On Saturday, O’Drobinak snagged three passes for 32 yards. His three-yard reception gave Bowling Green a 13-7 lead it never relinquished in a 33-28 victory at Florida International.
A week earlier O’Drobinak contributed a career long reception of 59 yards to set up a score in triple overtime victory against Buffalo. Overall, he now has six catches for 109 yards.
His yardage already has eclipsed last year’s total of 103 yards. Most of O’Drobinak’s nine receptions in 2005 came during the last five games.
Saturday against Kent State he’ll shoot for nine in a row.
O’Drobinak is a full-time regular for the Falcons, having earned the promotion with three starts in 11 appearances as a sophomore.
