You know, this part aside:PGY Tiercel wrote:Suprisingly a good article from Ron.
"Why not? Randle El, a quarterback at Indiana, is the only Division I player to pass for more than 6,000 yards and run for more than 3,000. And he also is the only one to throw for more than 40 touchdowns and rush for more than 40 "
My math has J5 at 43 rushing, 55 passing for his career.

he is the only player in NCAA Division I-A history to reach 6,000 yards passing and 3,000 yards rushing and also the only player to pass for 40 touchdowns and score 40 touchdowns …

I've tried to get into that writing for BGSUsports.com. "...was a school record at the time of his/her graduation." Some items have still slipped through the cracks, I'm sure.Dayons_Den wrote:His Redskins bio says that as well. As someone who writes bios of this type I would have put this qualifier "was the first" rather than "the only" that way I can be lazy and now have to go back and change the stats each season.

Thats cool how they compared him Randel El, but he actually idolizes Michael Vick.. thought I'd throw that out there!
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

"Ironically, Barnes was born in the Chicago suburb of Harvey, Ill., which is the same town where Randle El and his brother, Marcus, a receiver at Wisconsin, attended high school."
There is absoultely nothing at all ironic about where Barnes was born. "It's like rai---yeee-----ain....on your wedding day."
