Post by BGStudent10 »

How many people are heading to Columbus for the game this weekend? I know that BG didnt sell all of their tickets and I was curious to how many fans we'll have in the Shoe'.

Finally a "home" game for me!

I called the ticket office on Monday to see if they had any tickets left and they said they were all gone. Did they have to send them back to OSU or were they all sold?

I'm pretty sure they already turned them back in to OSU.

The wife and I along with two friends will be there. Using four OSU season tickets, so that means four less people rooting for OSU then normal. Got a parking pass as well. We will be in the Tuttle Place parking garage on the Northeast side of the stadium.

My wife and I will be there. I friend of mine called the OSU ticket office today and got tickets. I guess BG returned some unsold tickets to OSU yesterday.

I'll be there along with my little sister (a future Falcon!) in section 29AA.

Does anybody have any hints or tips for traffic/parking? My sister and I are going to the Skull Session to see the FMB perform, but I know St. John's Arena is right by the Shoe. Also how much do I need to plan spending on parking? Thanks!

Parking will probably be between $10 - 20. Don't park at the Lennox Center, they tow. Many streets around the campus area are permit parking only, and you can be towed. Just pay the money so you know your car is safe.

The skull session begins two hours prior to kickoff. I'd get there at least an hour prior to that to get a good seat.

Watch out for open containers, unless you are inside Hineygate or the like. Red solo cups are your best friend, just don't let the cops see you pour the alcohol into the cup. (They have even ticketed the big money alums in the RV lot for open containers.)

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
