Good Game

Post by OSU student »

BG represented itself well today. The drive you guys had to start the 3rd quarter has very impressive. And there were quite a few other times where you moved the ball rather well. Your band was also impressive.

Good luck on the rest of you season, and beat UT.

Thank you very much. We had a good day in Columbus. We walked through campus after the game to get to parking and no one bothered us at all. Wisconsin could certainly take some lessons!

Oh, your band is pretty good too

Good Luck the rest of the way.

I was wondering if that would get any love. Hell, even Dom Tiberi gave him some credit for that one!!!

I'm glad we finally found a way to get Corey the ball!

Oh, and thanks for the posts guys!

This was cool to see. You two are class acts. We all know how hard our team tried, and it is nice to know that others noticed that as well.

I think I'll have to buy a cinnamon roll tomorrow.

Wow where were these cool-assed OSU posters earlier in the week???!!! Vern, Student, thanks for the love.

Smith is a fun player to watch.

I like how we got to him though when he stayed in the pocket. Our undersized Dline had some good pressure sacks and Dozier came in and made some nice hits. I'd say the D was the best part of the game for BG, odd since we gave up 35 points, but truly I thought it could be worse.

I've tuned in to TOPN, I mean ESPN to try and see the top 10 plays- my cable went out and I only saw a fuzzy rendition of that Partridge catch.

Was that Corey's first TD catch since Wisconsin last season? He looked good in this game, glad to see he is staying healthy.

Yeah, it was. Though he's thrown for a TD and ran a punt back since then. :-D

I was with daughter in our tree stand yesterday and missed the game. I just finished watching it and heard allthe coments on the raido on our way home.
Very positive, I am proud of how our team played every aspect of this game, and if we continue to play like this we might just might have a real shot at the MACC, this year...hard to believe I know, but I think so, this is realy coming around. I feel good about the rest of sch. and hope to see you all in Orange next week.

Thanks guys. We had a fun time yesterday even though the outcome wasn't what we hoped. OSU is just a loaded team. I think they could beat the Browns....and I'm half serious. My sons kept staring in awe at the size of the Shoe. I told them "You can fit 4 Doyt Perry Stadiums in this place". LOL.

We didn't have any problems with the OSU fans and one guy shared his beer with me on the walk to the stadium. BG received many compliments during the game from the OSU folks around us. Every team has is share of ahole fans but I must say my view of the majority of OSU fans, at least for one day yesterday, changed. Tiki hut could learn a few things from guys like you.

OSU has an excellent shot to play for the BCS title.

Thanks from me too!! We also had a great time and a great weekend! The weather was picture perfect for football (and camping!!). We didn't get any negative comments from OSU fan before, during or after the game. The one funny comment I got was when I walked into a restaurant later that night and a guy in an OSU shirt said, "Boooooo!!" I replied with, "Hey, you won the game!!" He said, "No, it's not that, We're from Toledo!!!" I cracked up laughing and said, "Well, that's ok, then!!" :-D It was even funnier when I called home, got the UT game score and shared it with him!! \:D/
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I'm glad you all had a good time. I've always had respect for BG. I went to Buckeye Boys State, so let's just say that one of the best 9 day periods of my life was spent on your campus. Also, the first two NCAA div. 1 games I ever went to were at Perry stadium. I saw you beat E. Mich 41-20 in 04, and I was also at last year's 2 OT Toledo game.......both a thriller and heartbreaker. I also remember watching that great game you had vs N. Illinois, the one that brought eepn's gameday to BG.

I'll also add that I'm from Bellevue. And we call BGSU "Bellevue Graduate State University". So I've got quite a few friends from high school at BG. This is my first year at OSU, btw.

Go Bucks, and go Falcons.
