Its really interesting to see this play from this angle , cuz I distintcly remember watching the game and seeing the replay of our 50 yd FG block, and one of the BG's blockers (may have been #74 or 75) never even get up to block the on coming pressure. I was shocked and quite livid to say the least. Some one needs to tell our lineman who are blocking for Ellis to get kicks off , that they need actually "block" somebody.1987alum wrote:Here's one particularly disturbing shot. my seats sucked (35A) I thought the seats in the opposite endzone were visitor seats too, but I guess it was only the band section. I thought I was going to be over there and could have gotten a lot better pics. I couldn't really get any good game action shots though.

I'm mostly wondering why the teams are together like that. Not that it's a bad thing at all, but other than for togetherness, was there a reason for the gathering?

A lot of teams do it all the time after games. Get together and say a prayer, mostly, I imagine, to say thanks that no one got hurt, or ask for help if someone did get hurt.SaxyIrishTenor wrote:![]()

Saxy,
Actually, it was quite impressive to see both teams mingle like that after the game...and you'll note how many of them are down on one knee TOGETHER, after beating up on each other for 60 min. I hate to say it, but this may have been my best trip to a OSU/BG game...as I heard no smart AZZ comments; not even from my OSU alum daughter who was sitting with us. The school has obviously tried to make it a better place for visitors to come to; even had a short announcement and video of Tressel asking for the fans to enjoy the game and cheer FOR OSU , not AGAINST the visitors. He's added a great deal of class to that operation, IMO.
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)
