MAC Football Picks For Saturday

Post by BGSU33 »

BG over EMU - Easy pick....I hope.
NIU over BSU - Obvious....but I hope I am wrong.
Marshall over UCF - UCF, running the MAC.....HA HA HA!!!
KSU over Ohio - I think OU is the better team, but Kent State's at home, is due for a win and could get past the Bobcats.
GO BG!!!

BG over EMU - Slam dunk.
NIU over BSU - Slam dunk II
Marshall over UCF - Marshall is coming together at just the right time and UCF is quietly circling the bowl.
Ohio over Kent - Snobcats get back on track in a close one.

BG over EMU - Like duh.

NIU over BSU - As I refuse to root for UT at any cost, and since NIU won't lose twice, I'd rather they win out and look darn good doing it. It helps our case, and in a down season, we need a MAC team in the top 25.

Marshall over UCF - Overall, Miami losing in the title game against an NIU helps us more for bowl bids, than Marshall getting there and dropping their only MAC game to NIU. So I'll hope UCF wins, but I expect Marshall to win by a fair margin.

KSU over Ohio - OU couldn't hit the side of a barn with a weapon of mass destruction. Their defense isn't nearly as good as people have hyped it up to be.

Kent is due for a win. I expect OU to have a better than average day though, and manage to somehow get a win, despite Kent hoping and trying like heck.

Miami - UT, I think of the three vital games to UT, this is the most winnable. But they are playing a still capable Miami program, and UT isn't nearly as good as their hype would have us believe. UT's QB will have his worst game thus far, and UT's running game will get eaten alive. Enranged, Jabba the Stutz will eat an assistant coach alive on the sidelines.

WMU - CMU, WMU wins one, CMU sucks.

LOL - This is great! I hope you're right, too! (About the Miami win, not about the poor not-to-be-long-for-this-world assistant coach!)

Just as a reminder to Falcon fans, if the three-way tie scenario is going to work out, BG needs UT to beat Miami.
