CFN bowl projections

Post by BGGrad01 »

I know it's still a little early, but they have us slated for Fort Worth against a familiar opponent.

Its a little early....
...and CFN mostly speaks with their heads up their asses...
...but a Thursday bowl game would fit right in with my "weekend"!!! :D

Just wait until Brad Smith gets a couple years under his belt, he's gonna be AWESOME! We're still waiting, Brad.

It's fun to speculate.

But *I'll* eat a bug if Toledo ends up playing Minnesota in the Motor City Bowl. Who wants to see a rematch of that game?

ME! ME! As long as it doesn't mean BG is shut out of a bowl (providing we beat Toledo), I'd love to watch that. Although if UT would win it (as opposed to going down early and start throwing punches by halftime), spRocket fans would say that the 63 point effort in week 1 meant nothing.

I think its another example of flawed logic by CFN. Given the MAC's history, I think the UT-BG game is for an at large bowl bid, even if the division title has been decided. One will go, one will stay home. (Figuring that BG wins out and NIU beats UT of course. Any losses before then would be near-fatal.)

There were a lot of teams that faced "must win games" to stay alive to be bowl eligible yesterday that came through. Not what we wanted. As long as we go to a bowl, and I don't care which one it is, I'll be a very happy man.
GO BG!!!
