Nice article. I also hope that the Falcons finish the season strong. I don't think that this season is a disappointment considering how young and inexperienced our team is. Yes, we have some big question marks. One very big one being at the QB position. But, our young defense has looked very good recently. Bullock and the running game has also looked very good.
To be honest, going into this season...with as young as our team is, I wasn't expecting much. While, we may not be on the winning end each week, we are competing and still have a chance to finish the season 8-4.
This team is at the same crossroads as Miami (Ohio) and Toledo. And in my opinion, our outlook for the next few years looks much more promising than either of those two places

Thanks JimmyZ! I agree...nobody here expected BG to finish 10-2 or 11-1 and blow thru the MAC...simply wasn't going to happen with the youth. But we have a ton of raw talent that has gotten better each week. AT is a question mark, no doubt. I still hope he can find that groove and become the player we think he can be. I thought if we finished 7-5, 5-3 MAC, it would be a solid season. 8-4, 6-2 sounds even better. Akron, Toledo and Miami were all picked to be better than us and BG has more MAC wins than those 3 teams COMBINED. We are capable of winning every game the rest of the way and gaining steam going into 2007.JimmyZ11381 wrote:Nice article. I also hope that the Falcons finish the season strong.
